A Producers' Cooperative. Would you run one?

How would you convince a farmer to join a producers' cooperative? What are the incentives the government may give to cooperatives? What are the skills you will need at the start of the cooperative? These and other topics were discussed during training “How to manage a producers’ cooperative” in Jizzakh, Namangan and Tashkent from 14 to 19 October. Based on previously conducted trainings, participants have passed a specially prepared quiz. Then, using some case studies the international expert Mr. Oliver Frey, presented and compared cooperative systems and the challenges in Bulgaria, Slovakia and Uzbekistan. The trainer convinced his trainees in the importance of the team work during the group tasks.
