Dairy Cattle Management Training in Andijan

Do you remember commercial about natural milk from a countryside? Or our grandmothers’ stories about good old times in rural area, when the milk was the most delicious in the world? It seems like milk collection is such a romantic and simple process. In fact we, the citizens, can not even imagine what a hard work it is. Our project does its best for the Sustainable Development in Rural Areas of Uzbekistan. From 29 July to 2 August, with the support of Italian Breeders association AIA, a training on Dairy Cattle Management was held in Andijan branch of the Tashkent State Agrarian University, where 38 people took part. Among them veterinarians, specialists in animal breeding and the teaching University staff. Theoretical lessons in the class were switching with practical classes on the farm. Participants have learned more about how to take care of dairy cattle, about the health of cows and about milk production increasing.
